As the Association for Monitoring Equal Rights (AMER), we started our Monitoring, Advocacy and Support activities in 2010 in İstanbul, to ensure the equal recognition of human rights and fundamental freedoms for everyone and to provide them with equal opportunities.

Our work focuses on; election monitoring, access to justice, freedom of assembly, discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion or belief, and protection and support for human rights defenders.

We aim to continue our human rights-based work; by contributing to the strengthening of common sharing networks and in solidarity with other civil society organisations.

Our Policy:

1. Rejection of all forms of discrimination based on; race, ethnic origin, language, religion,belief, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, social status, political views etc.
2. Defending gender equality
3. Defending the norms of democracy and rule of law
4. Rejection of all kinds of violence and defending peace
5. Recognising that all human beings have fundamental economic, social, cultural, political rights and freedoms which are inviolable, inalienable and indispensable
6. Defending organised society and democratic political participation
7. Acting in accordance with respect for private life and and confidentiality of personal information with regard to the activities of the association
8. Independence from states, governments, political parties and investment groups
9. Carrying out activities in accordance with the principles of transparency and participation
